Brava and the Ipod

Hi,

We have just taken delivery of a new Bravo Sport. It's a great car.

Does anyone know if and how we can connect an Ipod to the Brava's sound system via the USB port. When I plugged the Ipod in to the port the system did not recognize the Ipod and the Ipod goes into connect mode and I can't access the menu.
