(progress) Supintegra

I made a new thread because my other thread was named My (Supintegra (6 pics)) that was dumb.

This bucket seat is going to be the weird one it has two different seatbelts because I looked for seat belts in my spare box. I'm making another one that looks similar to this but with the same seatbelts.

I am very disapointed. Done very bad, especialy the seats are painted very bad.

um... you could have just remaned your other thread...... this is the type of stuff that causes the server to run slower and slower:rolleyes:

ehh imo it looks funny.. its a good job done, but looks the same as it did in the other thread, u shoud have carried it over to that Progress thread....

ps. i don't belive how u said i suckd at makin models, But whatever thas over!

well i think that it will look good in the end. you can tell that there is still alot of work to do so saying it sucks now is unfair. you can also tell that alot of hard work went in to this model and just to say that it was done very bad is also unfair. if you think the model can be improved tell him that one part or two or threecan be improved by doing this and that to it.

Keep up the good work on this one and prove everyone wrong when you finish it.

It has a lot of sanding to do, or maybe I missed any progress you made. I didn't visit Af for two days I went somewhere.

for some reason i always take thread soff topic, i need to get it fiberglassed to the whole body of the car, cause if i even try to sand it, it fallso off or cracks


With the putty u use it looks like oyu dont have to do that :)
but red putty isnt the same as yours, did i mention that i cant wait to see yours finished!, i like the V-6 TT engine in it.

In my opinion, the whole car dont look good!:apuke:

First off, the idea is pretty dumb, especially because a supra tt engine would never work in an integra, second firewalls are quite usefull, and third it just damn looks fugly:bloated: .... especially the front bumper, and your paintjob on the seat.

Just my 2 cents

OK thanks, there are 2 people here on Af who like the car. I'm repainting the seats have primered them already and going to paint them with an airbrush instead of brush paint like last time.

I was going to do the half red half white, but I guess I will just keep them red.

Tell me what you think, if I should repaint them red-white or just red.

I'll finish up the side skirts later todayand tommorow. Will get pictures this weekend.

To answer what Hash_man said I'm not using a supra engine, and DUH! what do you think, I'm not going to put the fire wall in! :flipa:

If you want to do it half red, half white, do it that way. Just take your time, and be careful with the brush.


I don't know if a brushing technique is laid out anywhere, but I find it helps to support both wrists on the edge of the table you are working on. In your working hand, hold the paint brush, and choke up on it, right near the bristles. With the other hand, secure the part you are painting to the table. It always helps to support your wrists like this to reduce shakes.

The one on the left has a dot which will be covered up by the seatbelt decal. :D And the one on the right doesn' look look as good as it does in the pic. Yeah I know you don't have to tell me the holes for the seat belts are different. The one on the right was the one that was painted red and white. I keeping the seats red and putting back the decals. Hope it looks much better. Will get more pics of seats with seat belts later this weekend. I think the paint job looks much better thatn it was before, what do you guys think.

BTW I'm not showing any pics of the body until I finish the rear bumper. You guys might say the bumper sucks until I finish it. :p

It is much harder than it looks. A lot of custom stuff. I'm getting lazy, but I promise this will be the next finished one.

I'll work on it now, and maybe finish priming painting within the next 2 weeks. Sorry to keep you waiting zerrocool.

IMO,its the critics that makes a good modeller....so whatever you do keep it up!!;)

That car is ok but its kinda ugly the whole for the front end is way too HUGE! But it is a fun idea and a great mod! Cant wait to see it done!

This really is dissapointing. What ever happened to encouragment?
Do you want him to do it? Or do you even give a crap. This is the main reason alot of modelers wont post their work, because people like you decide that it's not up to you're standards and want to down him because of it.
To be honest, it's not to my standards either but you know what, I'm going to give him advice and encouragement to help him make a good looking car. Shows how much respect you guys have for other people's work.

Yes Chris, I am tired of watching people fight and I beleve that if comments, like the ones I have saw in this thread, we're less downing on peoples perspective of the way they build models, we would have less fights. People need to be less negative. That is all I'm saying.

I personally do not like the idea of putting a supra engine into an integra but ya know what im sure whn he is finished it will look so badass and whne he posts the pics of it when it is done im sure you will all realize you are f*cking morons.
Dont knock on others work at all cause he has his own personal preferences. They may or may not match yours, but it shouldnt matter cause its not your car. Dont knock on him just encourage him and help him out if you think something is wrong and should be fixed on the car..then HE will decide whether or not it should be changed.
VERY NICE WORK ON YOUR CAR I KNOW ONCE YOU PUT A LITTLE MORE TIME INTO THE CAR THEN IT WILL LOOK AWESOME.

This project is on hold for now, the body is finished. Just need to sand the whole thing down for priming.

I think the engine is from a stealth kit. It is a TT V6 that is for FF cars.

OK, that's enough! We've moved on now, no need to bring up this debate - on with the model making!!!;)

i think its a good start with some original mods. one suggestion would be to maybe think of trimming down the side skirts and narrowing down the front. if you look at the side profile of the car, it looks like the wheels won't be able to touch the ground once you put it together. anyway, i think this deserves a second look.

one tip on the side skirts is to maybe add a bit more model cement to the ends so that you are able to weld the two pieces of styrene together so that you can sand out the seam that you currently have there. all in all, i think a little putty here and there to smooth out the gaps would make a world of difference.
