Hi, my deepest condolences...

i suggest you put up a list of whatever you have & post in here at AF.
but if you're not sure about the prices, humm...i suggest you have a go at ebay & start low.

if the kit is worth it's dollar...rest assure it will fetch the current pricing.
remember to state clearly the kit's condition, the scale & your sales terms...

good luck!

...and if you decide to post them for sale on this forum, post them in the classifieds section. Sorry to hear about your loss.

Welcome to AF. Sorry to hear of your loss.

Two possible options for selling th kits would be to sell them on Ebay, or (if they are all/nearly all car kits) to offer them for sale here in the classified section.

Model kits are not 'collectibles'. They do not have any value to them, like stamps, coins, or baseball cards. The are only ever worth what one buyer is willing to pay for them, and only at the moment that the trade is made. If you want to get the maximum amount of money possible for the kits, it will involve some effort on your part- to research what the kits you have often sell for, and to decide how to find the buyer willing to pay most. It is for you to determine if that would be time/effort well spent or not. Ebay is of course a good option for selling to the highest bidder.

If you're more interested in getting it done easily and are more concerned about finding 'good homes' for the kits where they will be enjoyed as opposed to getting a maximum amount of money for them, an online forum classified section may be a good option. Automotive Forums can take no responsibility for transactions made here, and can offer no protection to either the buyer or seller. However the community here is an excellent one, and problems on trades are between rare and nonexistent. You will likely get fair and reasonable offers for the kits. To post here, you will need to post at least the kit manufacturer name and the name of the car the kit is of. Pics are nice but not necessary. Read through the rules in the classified section, and if you have questions, ask.

Good luck!

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. I'll keep an eye out if you decide to post an ad in the classifieds here and depending on the kits in question, might be very interested. Take care
