My Headlight is Not Working. HELP!
Hey guys and girls I got a question hopefully someone might be able to help me with.
I just bought a '99 Civic HB and the right passenger side headlight bulb is not working. I have tried three different bulbs in the socket and none of them work. I have tried two H4 PIAA bulbs that worked in my previous '93 civic and I tried a plain stock bulb with no luck.
The corner bulb works but the headlight bulb does not.
Im thinking either the wiring is bad/cut or the bulb power harness is kaput.
In either case what can I expect to spend $$$ to fix this.
Before I make the expensive trip to a Honda dealer what are you guys oppionions on what the problem might be?
:(

check the fuses under the hood and under the dash

Thanks. I had competely forgotten about the fuses under the dash.
It must be the fuse because the high beam works and the low doesn't.
Now I just hope my bad luck will hold off long enough to put a new fuse in.

if it's not the fuse get a multimeter and test the wire for a connection

It did turn out to be a fuse. As a matter of fact the fuse for the low beam was missing so I just popped an extra fuse in there and all is well.
