Yeah, it's a bit of a chore to remove/replace. May I ask why you need to remove it?

The factory service manual details the procedure, but the text doesn't do a whole lot of good without the corresponding photos. If you'd like a PDF copy of the section, send me a private message with the request and an e-mail address for you that can accept PDF attachments.

-Rod:banghead: the bushings are shot and on the passenger side its almost gone so i thought just replace the bushings but after some reading you cant just replace the bushings and i think there to far gone to shim so the only thing that i think i can do is replace unless someone knows another way i am all ears thanks:banghead:

What model LS do you have sport or non sport? You don't have to replace the whole sway bar just replace the bushings. I just had mines done. I have an 01 Sport and the size bushing needed is a 30mm. Now for the non sport models based on some researched I did I think uses 27mm. Click on the attached link http://www.energysuspension.com/pages/swaybbct.html. Trust me they work very well and you can grease them for periodically.

I think what LeaSr77 was suggesting is that you can use the 30mm "Greasable Set # 9.5171" from the link provided. Don't order by application per se, but order a "universal" 30mm part for your Sport.

Do you mean you could not view the link or you could find the sway bar? Energy Suspension sells the bushings alone. You have to go to universal bushings and find the one you need. That link sends you directly to it. You have a sport so you need a 30mm bushing. I just had mine replaced last week with bushings that I bought from them. You are not going to find bushings as a set for the LS because Lincoln didn't disclose that information because they want you to buy the whole bar when you dont have to.
