how do you change the fuel filter in a 2001 ford mustang gt coupe?
Step 1, go to Kragen and get the fuel disconnect tool (http://www.partsamerica.com/productdetail.aspx?MfrCode=PBI&MfrPartNumber=648722&CategoryCode=2109).
Step 2, get some good jack stands.
Step 3, get a good floor jack.
Step 4: Place floor jack under pumpkin
Step 5: Jack car up as high as possible.
Step 6, Place jackstands at both far ends of the axle.
Step 7, lower axle down onto jack stands so the weight is on those.
Step 8 block front wheels.
Step 9, pull floor jack out.
Step 10. Get flat screwdriver and fuel disconnect tool
Step 11. Crawl under back of mustang.
Step 12 Use fuel disconnect tool and disconnect lines.
Step 12. Unscrew clamp band.
Step 13 Remove old fuel filter
Step 14, mount new fuel filter.
Step 15 retighten the clamp band
Step 16, reconnect fuel lines
Step 17, crawl back out from under car.
Step 18, Use floor jack to lift car again.
Step 19. Remove the jack stands
Step 20, lower car slowly.
Step 21. Go to fridge
Step 22. Grab beer and enjoy.

Step 12 Use fuel disconnect tool and disconnect lines.

Step 13 Remove old fuel filter
Step 14, mount new fuel filter.
Step 15 retighten the clamp band
Step 16, reconnect fuel lines
Step 17, crawl back out from under car.
Step 18, Use floor jack to lift car again.
Step 19. Remove the jack stands
Step 20, lower car slowly.
Step 21. Go to fridge
Step 22. Grab beer and enjoy.
