1996 Metro

The headlights on my '96 metro do not come on with the lever switch. They will only come on when the emergency brake is released. When the lever switch is turned to the headlight position, the headlights go off. When the emergency brake is released and the headlight come on, I can hear a relay making and breaking, also, when the lever is pushed to have the brights come on, they do not. The only way to have the brights come on is to pull the lever to flash the headlights. Is there a wiring diagram available so that I can troubleshoot this problem?
