03 reliability=??

looking to buy 2003 ls,with automatic transmission.101,000 miles. do those trannys and engines last. also is there a timing belt(interference) or do these cars have chain?thanks. can e-mail = [email protected]

Timing Chain driven.
Ecotec motor is one of GM's best ideas ever. Very reliable, but sorta noisy.
the 4t40e is a decent transmission. If it fails, they are a dime a dozen.
So far I haven't heard anything odd like spinning bearings, or water pumps going early. So i'd say you'd have another good 15-20K miles before things may start needing to be replaced.
