Turbo?

Looking for a turbo kit for the GA16de 1.6l, any recommendations?

Also do i need to do anything to the engine to put a turbo on, like injectors,rods,cams?:confused:

I thought the higher the psi the worst it is? or did you mean not to go over 20 psi?:confused:

Also is there any way to take off the rev limiter and governor without getting a new ecu because their way expensive. Could i have some shop do it for me?

over 20psi the injectors go into overpulse mode and you can make up for the extra air, if boost falls below 20 you could blow the motor up

seriously, its more than a hassle to turbo a 1.6 or the 'gay' motor. there is a guy locally to me that was in the nissanperformancemag that has a pretty nicely set up 1.6 turbo and used to compete in SM in autocrossing a couple years back.

if you can, try and locate a used hotshot turbo kit. that should net you maybe 200whp or so.

i was as close to signing a great deal on a used rx8. was going to go sign the papers the next day, and since i sold the sentra to the pops, he was out driving it. he hit a pothole he tells me, and the tie rod ends go out on both sides, along with the front struts. so much for a pot hole....

he calls lemon law on me, and i buy the car back from him, thus not havin enough to buy the rx8 cash anymore. and i've fixed the tie rods, but not the struts yet. thus, me keeping the sentra for even longer. what can you do when he keeps a roof over my head, and me not wanting to have a car note...

for now im just looking for a cheap early 90s miata or rx7 with no rust to strip all the way out and be a cheap track only car. tired of the b15 not having that much aftermarket options if you know what i mean.

for sure. the FC doesnt have the aftermarket that my old 240s have, but still more than any sentra. maybe ill do something wacky and swap in a 20 valve 4AGE...
