1994 z28 5.7

Hello, this is my first time posting here on your site. I'm just looking to see if anyone is have problems with there temperature gage and rad fan. It seems as if my fan never goes on, and the temp gage goes about 3/4 to just below the red line when I'm driving. a few people have said the fan will kick on at the red line...but that sounds dumb....any one ever heard of this? Or seeing the same thing?

Do you have AC. The fan should come on when the AC is on.

yes, i have AC but im about 89% sure it still dosent go on... i had a mechanic check it but he said it worked....i have NEVER seen it go on lol
id go dubble check it now but i broke the imfamus camaro trans mount so it s getin fixed.
