Adding aftermarket tranny cooler -2004 Blazer

Have any of you added a tranny cooler to a 2004 or similar truck? My questions are in regard on best location and so forth. the instructions on the cooler show hooking up to the return line(top) on the radiator but unlike my old 93 model there are no holes in the front end I can pass the hoses thru. I noticed the OEM cooler is installed by GM in the BOTTOM line not the top one according to my GM service manual, when the factory installs them. I wonder rather than running the hoses a longer way under the front or having to bore a hole in the front end(if there is room) have any others here done this and what would did you do? Also these lines look to have a clip in them rather than the ones you simply unscrew. Are these a pain to deal with on these types of aftermarket coolers? I have adapters but they are threaded. Any help appreciated!

I got one answer already from manufacturer regarding the lines, seems Advance auto sold me wrong fittings, no big deal, but still wondering whether to tie this in at top line or bottom line.

Well I guess I answered my own questions, but in case anyone is curious it makes no difference which line is used, mfr. says whichever is easiest to deal with...so most likely I will hook mine up like GM OEM units using the bottom line. More access and shorter rubber lines.
