I receive a vibration whenever I go between 50 to 60 mph. I think it might be my tires. any thoughts?

Tires would be a good start. How do they look? Do they have any uneven wear? The tires Ford supplied on these cars were not very good to begin with.

I have an 01 focus and it does the smae thing but only vibrates while I have it in reverse and the brake is applied. I took it in and was told it would be fine to drive and all. That they thought it was my engine mounts everything else seemed fine.

Definatley start with the tires. Look for uneven wear on any of them. Make sure they are properly inflated and balanced. After all that if the vibration is still there it may be time for an alignment. Hit any big holes lately?
