This is my first post, I have never seen this combination of problems before. I have a 2002 ls sport with the ecotech 2.2, when it sits over night the car will start normal then stall like its out of gas. Imediatly after I try again and it starts no problem. It dosn't stall again untill simmular cercamstances. Also almost the same time (not as often) I'll tun the key on and the guages don't cycle and dont move at all, also cuasing the windows to not work. Its like they are not receiveing power. There may be more things afftected but this is what I have just found. But again if I recycle the key, meraculously every thing works.
Is there some kind of central power or control module that runs these.
Also I just remembered. These things started the same day I got my car inspected in MA. Would there be something they checked that would cause this?

Everything you mentioned receives ignition feed, makes me wonder about your ignition switch or the feed to the switch.
Your saying the vehicle will always crank good when you try to start it? It wouldn't hurt anything to clean your battery cables on both ends and snug-em up.

It cranks fine every time. The starting issue isn't always present with the gauge, window problem. meaning it has started fine and the gauge and windows don't work.
