Pleaase someone help!!!!!!
Well I have found 1 guy who rebuilds transmission. I found when mt tranny went. So first time around everything wen well until I jump on to the highway(I realize it now that the problem occurs after highway rides) then slowed down back to 1st it shifts really rough onto 3rd a believe. Happens around 23mph and will not occur when I have turned off my car for about 5 mins. Well the first and second time I continued to drive like that but then eventually it will start to slip and worsen! The second time around I went back to the rebuilder and he stated the cooler was not flushed probably by my mechanic. So what the heck he offered to give me a different rebuild in another case which was the 3rd time around. Well what happen I get on the highway everything is shifting fine...I exit so I had to slow down when I accelerated it shifted very harsh again from 2-3 gear!!!!!!!
Now MY question is can this be a PCM problem?

What trans and engine and size car and what year?
Could one of many things.
And remember the engine has to be rubnning good for the transmission to work good.
It needs put on a transmission/engine capable scanner and checked for codes and all transmission and engine data read out.
Post back any codes engine or transmission.

The cooler might be bad too. There are two choices,a new radatior or an outside cooler on this.

I just went through a trans replacement on 99 Express 4L60E. Discovered that the Vehicle Speed Sensor can do very strange things and for $20 bucks, might be worth a try.

I have a 5.0 with a 4l60e trans!!
How can it be the speed sensors when different casings were used?

In the world of rebuilt transmissions, it is very common that the original Speed Sensor is taken from the old housing and placed in the new. I certainly am not pretending to know the answer to your problem, just sharing my recent experience. The sensor on mine, upon removal, appeared to have been oozing something that looked like white grease. I would guess that the unit has some kind of grease substance in it and as it oozed out the shifting pattern gradually got worse. I understand that these failures are rare and I also know that mine was not throwing codes that would clearly tell you the problem. It just did not shift correctly. Its a $20 part on my van. To me that was cheap and eliminates one possibility. It actually ended up being my problem. I hope you can be so lucky.
