Audi R8

Hi all

This is my Revell Audi R8. Colour scheme was inspired by the Jeremy Clarkson film of it on Top Gear. The body is TS-38 gunmetal grey and the side blade is TS-17 gloss aluminium. Enjoy.

^^ Note the messed up looking right corner. Unfortunately I have overdone the panel lining in between the rear right fender and the part in between the lights. The center piece broke off =(

Good color combination, I like this R8! Did you paint the rims also? I'm not a fan of those Revell R8 stock rims, but your one looks better than the factory chrome look.

Yea, the Revell rims looked terrible so I "heavy misted" them with the same gloss aluminium I used on the side blades. Then I used Tamiya german grey XF-63 to detail the center cap and the wheel bolts. The brake discs are also black washed.
