2000 Lincoln continental trying to stall in wet weather

:meant: please help my new to me 2000 Lincoln continental is trying to stall in wet weather when splashed with water does this have to do with the air intake box Position also the owners Manual says the ignition switch
has an Accessory position but when i try to turn the key to this position it doesn't move would some WD40 fix this:wtf:

please help

only when it's wet out? ok try this after having it running for a few get some wire dry and spray all the wiers and cap or coil pack you can get it at autozone or any part's store spray them all good.....

oh you might wana cange wires but if wire dry makes it stop buy new wires. sorry for not putting that down first time

thanks for the help it doesn't have plug wires it has coil on plug i think it was getting water in the intake when i went through a big puddle a little to fast for after this it started to surge until it cleard its self this stumpd me even though ive been trained as an auto tech
