Tornadoes FTL!

I had a minor tornado run through my neighborhood about 2 hours ago. I was stuck on the interstate with traffic at a stand still and my car feeling as if it were going to be flipped over. No sooner do I here on the radio that one tornado has been reported about 1/2 a mile from me. A person a couple cars in front of me had a sign post blast through his back window as I was just sitting there watching this all happen. I made it back to my place after parking a couple blocks down as I could not drive any further less my car be stalled in deep water. From there I hiked back to my place to get the camera and here was what I came up with. (all within about 1/8th mile of my place or closer, some right across the street)

Forgot to mention that all the stop lights in the surrounding area were out so traffic was nothing short of a catastrophe.

Shoot, that's nothing. We had a dust storm and some light rain the other day. My car is so dirty now.

Heh.

On a serious note, that sucks man...that 350 looks like it needs some pontoons.

Yeah, definately not a smart move on the 350. When he went in there it was a fair amount deeper too because I did not get to take the picture until I made it back to my place, got my camera, and walk back. By then, much of it had drained. However, I was walking along the street by the flooded area and all the sudden heard the whaling sound of a VQ motor only to look over and see this guy hauling some serious ass into this little mess where his car was stopped in about a second, and wouldn't start agian.

Damn that's rough. Note to...well...you. Avoid tornadoes and invest in sponges.

Just tree damage. That should be easy to clean up. I don't know about the Z though. People can be seriously stupid at times.

Just pop of the intake, use some MAF cleaner and a hair dryer, and sea foam it...Just like new!

looks like his exhaust is taking a big drink of tornado water, too. That is going to be a bitch to get back to normal. Not to mention im sure it leaked into the interior of the car, which is going to ruin it. Ive seen a Lotus Elise that came from katrina... Those things mold and rust from the inside out with even the smallest amount of water.

Nissan's new marketing ploy, The 350Zubmarine, proved to be an epic failure.

Haha yeah. I especially felt like an asshole taking pictures of him in his car when he was still inside it. And even still today, his car is off in the parking lot right by there and has yet to move...

Seriously that guy was a nimrod. Who in their right mind drives their car into a pond that big.

Since I did not have my camera with me at the time I was not able to take a picture of the storm rolling in before it hit Omaha, but someone I know was able to capture this pic just before it got into the city.

I got some pictures like that from Katrina. The email my buddy sent them in was great.

"Man said: God, you don't really exist.

God said: Oh fuck that..."

^^Yes, that is one school of thought. Another is that when storms like this happen it is because Chuck Norris roundhouse kicks someone at the same time Mr. T pitties the fool. Which in this case, it has now officially been reported that windspeeds taken about a block away from my place were over 110 mph.
