Acura Integra "SUPERCAR"???

I got a sudden burst of inspiration for this kit. I'm gonna take an Acura K20 engine from the rsx type-s, buy instead of putting it in the front to make the ordinary FWD Acura. I decided to make it a mid-engine and on top of that, make it RWD... crazy right.....just crazy enough to work well. It will also be a two seater with NSX style side vents to cool that 4 cylinder :eek7: engine.
the color rims I will be using, and the guide lines for the vents. I will also cover up the back windows and put a carbon fiber roof ( such as the BMW M3 E92 )

the color i will paint it.

this is goint to take some heavy scratch building.
enjoy and more to come

I would recommend re-doing the paint, but first blending in the putty more. Those side vents and shaved side windows will look amazing if you make them look like they belong there. If you want to conserve the carbon roof without re-doing that part, you can mask off the area around it, clearcoat it, then when you go to repaint, you can just mask off the carbon.
Other than that and the engine touchups you mentioned, I can't find anything wrong with this build. It's a great idea and great execution. Keep it up!

that putty/body work was nowhere near ready for paint.
You should also look into the dissolved putty (http://www.hiroboy.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=476)/primer (http://www.hiroboy.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1820) in a jar type stuff or even just decant some primer into a jar for the filling of the surface of putty work for the final stages of sanding.
I've never been able to get a putty surface to be perfectly smooth and the extra layer of "filler" primer helps keep the surfaces as smooth as possible before I start spraying primer.
Also, you should pay attention to the whole of the body work for casting imperfections.
Examples would be on the inside of the front wheel arch where there is some flash (or is it mis-casting?).

it's not a model paint it is a "colbat blue" from liqiutex acrylic paint . the only bad thing is that it isn't made for plastic so you can scratch it off with your finger nail, so i would only use it for interiors

you should take more time sanding down the putty cause it's nowhere near that being ready for paint

I have 2 extra of those Double spoke acura wheels (your red ones), as well as the 5 spoke ones (your black ones). Private Message me your address and I will mail them to you so you can have matching wheels if you don't already have all 4.
Don't be in such a hurry with this model. Take your time to smooth out the putty. Nobody is in a race here. A good model should take you many hours to do. So have some pride in your work and take your time. This project that you are doing is very cool and innovative, it just needs some more attention to detail.

this model was done a couple of months ago, since i made this thread i stopped working on it. My modeling skills have gotten better and I have some better putty, so I will most likely re-apply some putty and make it right.
