Rear Wheel Click

My rear passenger wheel clicks on rotation. I can jack it up and rotate the wheel and it makes the click noise than too. After you run it for a while the lugs become really hot. I mean like put water on them and you can hear the sizzle. I really don't know what it is, only the one wheel. Any suggestions on what to check for?

What year vehicle? Disk brakes or brake drums?

Check your wheel bearings, sounds like they are failing.
