So i went ahead and installed new weather stripping on the roofrail of my 2 door malibu the drivers side sealed right off. But the passanger side which didnt line up before is about 1/4 of an inch off on top and the front. Now my question is how would i go about adjusting this? Would i have to completely re align the door? Reset the glass? Im not to hot when it comes to body work hehe. So any links or info would be great. Thanks.

If the door does not sag and sits properly when closed (flush with the surrounding sheet metal and with an even gap all around) then door adjustment is not necessary.

I am not sure about your car but I have come across American cars with frameless doors like yours have an adjustment for the window track. There should be bolts at the front and rear of the door. Wind the window up. loosen the bolts a bit, move the glass into the correct position then tighten bolts.

Again, I am not sure about yours but I have found these on a number of cars I have owned over the years.
