Help Transmission Keeps Blowing Clstr Fuse

EVERY TIME I PUT MY CAR INTO D DRIVE GEAR THE CLSTR FUSE BLOWS AND MY CAR WILL NOT SHIFT.. DOES ANYONE HAVE AN IDEA ON WHATS WRONG WITH THIS STUPID CAR, ITS AN 03 CAVALIER? THANKS:banghead:

there is something wrong with your cluster. not your transmission

Try disconnecting the electrical connector from the transmission range switch and see if the problem persists.
