Moonroof install?

Does anyone know how much time and work would be involved in replacing a regular roof on a '92 Dodge Stealth base model with a moonroof off of another Stealth?

A lot of time and a lot of work. You have to cut both roofs off and then carefully measure and graft the new roof on.

if you have bodywork experience, i wouldnt think it would be too bad. However, if you want both cars to have a roof at the end, it will be a bit more difficult. Like stealthee said, the measurements would have to be PERFECT. But If the moonroof is just coming off a parts car or something, just cut it out larger than the hole, place it on top, and trace around it from the inside. Then just cut, weld, and wire. Just dont warp the roof from the welding heat. But you will probably need to use some filler anyway after grinding the welds down.
DISCLAIMER: I have very little experience with bodywork. this is just from watching others do it and speculating.

No actually they will have to cut the posts to do this. LOTS of work. Not worth it.

Hardtop 3s's are where its at. Mine is an oringial hardtop. Someone put a sunroof in it before I bought it and I hate it.

My sunroof is aftermarket as well. I actually have the reciept for it too, though, it's so old it's illedgible. The date is one of the few things i can read...1995 :D
I didnt realize there were any supports up there. Did the glass top cars have additional support elsewhere, or are they just lacking it altogether?
