Help! I Have A Rouph Idle, and When I Am Crusing Along Not Really Pressing On The Gas Pedal Hard It Runs Rouph, But When I Push Down On The Pedal To Accelerate It Runs Perfect. I Cleaned The (maf) With (maf) Cleaner, I Checked The (iac) And Pvc, Cleaned The Butterfly Changed The Fuel Filter About 3000 Miles Ago And Changed The Coil Pack Any Ideas? I Also Disconnected The (maf) Electric Plug And It Didnt Change Could The (maf) Be Faulty?

Sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere, Start checking anywhere the vacuum hoses run to see if one is off, loose or cracked or listen for air sucking sound around engine compartment. This is the first place I would look and it doesnt cost anything. with all the work you've you could have knocked something loose

I have a '93 and in mine there is an accelerator system on top onf the intake manifold where the air output tube ( the big black one on top) goes... just take off the guard in the way, and the air output tube on top. I'd look at that while pressing down the gas pedal. My guess is that the flap is getting stuck as it's supposed to be closing when you're cruising/letting off the gas. If your lucky you might be able to just spray some carb cleaner for a quick fix before considering replacement ( I dont know the cost of a new one)
