McLaren 60 Degree Engine Tune Up

In years gone by i've had my tune ups done by my local mechanic but over the last 5 years or so i've done it all myself.

Now, i'd like to tackle the plugs, i've read that you only need to pull the bolts on the forward mounts ant pull the engine forward and relock with the temp hole sockets.

It seems to be the case for mine, i was wondering if there were any other things i should be aware of before changng out the plus and wires.

You're talking about the Turbo 3.1 from the Mclaren Grand Prix, right?

If it's anything like a normal 3.1 (which most of it is...) you should be able to do it without tilting the engine, if your arms are small enough. I was able to do the plugs in my Cavalier including the back without tilting the engine.

I may very well be wrong as I haven't seen a 60 degree mclaren motor in person. I don't think there's anything else to know, it's a straight forward change, just do the wires too...I've seen them go bad when changing.

Never seen the turbocharged mclaren either. Could you snap a few pics?
