I threaded a post a few days ago about swapping a B18C1 into my 4DR Civic 93. When I'm buying parts for it such as, header, intake, exhaust...do I buy parts for the stock engine or the new engine? I know it sounds weird and you might think I'm stupid, but would a cold air intake for the B18C1 fit in the engine bay without modification? As well as the exhaust?

Something I forgot:

Alright, if I buy a header for the GSR engine, I make the modification to the exhaust to reach to the CAT, what kind of CAT back exhaust would I need to buy? A CAT back exhaust for the civic or for the engine?

I know for a fact from experience that the CAI will fit in the engine bay fine. You can't use a d-series header, but you can get any b-series header. As for the cat-back, it souldn't be a problem although I am not positive. Nothing a shop couldn't fix for you at a small cost.

GSR has a taller deck high than the B16,and the B16 header will not clear the oil pan.
