Turbocharge Small Block Chevy Questions

I thought about turbocharging my carburetored 355. People told me its a waste with a carb but others say its sweet. I need help and ideas, anything would help. If i have to convert to EFI what all do i need? Also if anyone has plans or something on doing this, Id like to see those, and all the components Im gonna have to buy. Thanks for your time.
