99' Avenger "help"

i have a 99 avenger with a cracked head gasket
im getting that fixed asap but the cost of gas is kinda delaying that
but i basically need some help with cheaper things i could do to make this thing alot faster (140 hp dosent really cut it)

Cold air intake, better plug wires, exhaust. . . etc.
