Hi we have a 96 4runner and it just wont start, put in a new battery, lights came then i turned them off and finished tightening the cables, went to fire it up and nothing at all. I cleaned cables before i put new battery in. New starter was put in about 2 months ago also. I checked all fuses and they are good, we have no lights at all and no noises comming from starter either. Any ideas guys:confused:
Thanks so much, Mando

They have a small wire going to the solenoid. You need to take a test light and make sure you get voltage on this wire when you try to start the vehicle.
Check all fuses and fusable links. A lot of these get burnt trying to jump start and hooking the cables wrong.
