A/C issue

Is it really bad if I don't have water dripping from underneath the car after using the A/C after parking?? I'm talking about no small puddle at all, not one single drop everytime I park the car after running the A/C from a typical day of commuting. Does it mean I have to replace a A/C hose, and if so, which one. Thanks in advance.

If the air conditioner is blowing cold, it may mean the evaporator pan drain hose is clogged or the humidity is really low where you are. You can reverse blow the hose and make sure it is clear. Usually a clogged hose will cause a wet floor mat and musty air.

Thanks for the reply, but what exactly do you mean by "reverse blow the hose"?

There is a small hose attached to the evaparator pan which exits the passenger compartment and goes into the right side of the engine compartment. Putting some air pressure on this hose on the engine comparment side will show if the tube is clear. You don't need much, maybe just a couple of pounds. It might also dislodge any plugs in the hose if there are any. If its clear and you don't have any other reason to think there is a problem, then you are just in a low humidity location.
