4.6L Towing

Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L owner here. Gas mileage is not good, especially towing. Heard the 4.6L Ford F150's I've been looking at (2001-2003 model years) will get 18-23 MPG.

A) Do you all get that on your 4.6's?

B) How does it tow, I've got a boat I pull around.
