i can hardly see at night because of the dimness of my headlights.it seems like the brightness of high beam should be low beam.you can look at them when they're on and tell they are really not bright as they should be.i even replaced them yesterday with some so-called brighter bulbs, but no difference.could there be a wiring or relay issue that would cause this?

make sure the lense is clear, then after that it is most likely the socket that is either corroded, or burnt, those sockets can be easily found at any good auto parts store, and wired up by a child.

Or maybe just spoiled by HID's.

Check your wiring connections. Those "Brighter" bulbs will actually melt the stock harness connections. Had to replace them with bigger wiring near the bulbs. The increased heat transfers from the bulb. Also, check to make sure you are getting 14.5 volts to them while the car is running.
