I have a 1989 cavalier with a digital dash, and I was wondering if anyone knew what was involved or can it even be done to replace it with a regular one. Any help would be appreciated, I can't stand the digital dash.

Thankyou,

Hi Kind of have the same problem, and maybe not, got a dash from a salvage yard that came out of an automatic Cavalier, same year as my stick, but had a tach in it. Put it in and it runs three seconds and quits kind of like the security issue some have experienced, any answers, so what little we know now fellow poster, is dashboards seem to be different, from digital, to auto, to stick. This is in my little hornet race car, have raced for a long time in the old stuff, thats what is making this division so much fun, a new mystery:) thanks
