I've had this happen on my car. If you take the bulb out, is the filament broken? If you don't know how to tell, shake the bulb and there shouldn't be anything rattling inside when you do.

If the bulb isn't broken, then something is loose with the connector. I have this happening on my 750, H1 bulbs. When I wriggle the connector, they come on and stay on until I shut them off. Sometimes they come on again after that, sometimes I'll have to give them a wriggle again. If that's the case, then I suspect a bad ground connection, but have not inspected this problem yet myself.

i had disconnected the bulb from the harness and then put it back on and it worked, but when i turned the high beams on the light went out and when i turned the highs off the low beam did not come back on and still wont come on.. whats wrong there? could it be a short or something wrong with the wiring?
