Driver power window not working

Hey everybody, it's my first time on this forum. Anyway, so I've got a 1994 GMC S-15 Jimmy and the driver's power window isn't working. When I'd hit the switch for it to go down, it'll go about 1/2 inch to an inch down and stops there, and it won't go back up very well. Does the power window motor need to be replaced? If so, is $25 expensive for one? Thanks!
