chevy bose sytstem

I have a 06 Chevy Silverado, with the Bose system. Can I add a dvd player to my stock hu??? If so, where can I find any diagram? Or, does anyone have this setup? i currently have a JVC, DV5400. it sounds good, but cant hookup the stock 8" sub. So that is why I want to run a dvd player with my stock Bose hu. But, I do need a dvd player for my aftermarket overhead monitor. Thanks in advance, and please I need answers with actual knowledge, not links or guesses or bashing. Peace.:cool:

Interfacing aftermarket stuff with OEM stuff is always challenging at best. I am assuming your stock system has an amp(s), which is going to make a lot more challenging. Personally, I have no idea - I always replace ALL the audio stuff in my vehicle when I redo the stereo.

what power in JVC, DV5400 system?
