Hi, just curious if anyone knows much about Patriot cylinder heads? I can get a set of these (new & complete) for way less that what they sell for, but I have never heard anything about them. I currently have some aging but very reliable Bowtie heads and was thinking on switching to the Patriot (aluminum) heads if they were well made and would offer superior performance over my aging Bowties. Here is the link to the heads https://www.patriot-performance.com/xcart/product.php?productid=75&cat=40&page=1
Thanks in advance.

Typical inexpensive import (China) heads. Summit sells them under their own name, too. Depends on which Bowtie heads you have, as to any improvement they may provide. Intake runners listed are a little on the small side, unless your engine is not a high winder or smaller than 355 CID.
As with ALL aftermarket heads, significant gains will be realized by having them "optimized" by a pro head shop.
FWIW

i ported a set of patriots and ran them on a 383 that i built. honest opinion, they are a good head for the price and they are great for a street motor of smaller cubes (as already been stated) but i wouldnt give up the bowtie heads for a set. and the set that i done made 430 hp on 383 cubic inches at 5800 rpm with a 242 @.050 hydraulic roller if that tells you anything. heath
