Ok,
I have a 96 Integra RS automatic. I am trying to trade it in and get a 2k civic SI.
Here is the deal
my car, I owe 9k (i got ripped off)
the car around 12-15k
my cars trade in value 6k
If I understand right they will have to pay the company that has my loan 9k...then take away the 6k for trade in I will owe them 3k on top of the 12-15k it could end up costing me around 17-20k for the car...what do you think guys???
I post this here because i consider alot of you guys friends and i value your opinons

Sounds about right. You'll be paying negative equity. IMO not worth it. If you do go through with it I suggest you get insurance that covers it just in case the Si gets jacked.

I wouldn't say more than any other Honda/Acura but if you do get the Si and it does get jacked than your insurance will only pay for what the car's worth and you'll owe them the difference. Like I said they have insurance for that though.

You do know that it still has the same hp as the 00's right? The only difference is that it losses like a couple hp less in the drivetrain and hits peak hp a little earlier in the rpm band.

the new si's have the same peak hp rating but theres a big difference in tq, which is what matters anyways. hp just means how long [rpm] that torque stays up
