Automatic Transmission

Hello I am new here , I just bought a 2000 Explorer XLT with 4.0 OHC and I don't know if the tranny is acting OK. When is shifting from 2 to 3 gear is like half second shifting almost sliping.It is nothing hard just the rpm is going up 3-400 rpm for maybe .2 sec. What you guys think is may need a new tranny?
The tranny was rebuild 130000 miles ago and the truck have now 180000.
Also how is this engine vs 4.0 sohc?
