My oil warning text came to let me know it was time to change the oil. I have d one that but now I need to reset the message. It still says "Change oil now" I was told to hold down the test button until the text started blinking and then press reset and oil, but it didn't reset. Can anyone help?

nothing in the owners manual ?
call the local GM dealer service counter and ask them
or a local small time repair shop guy who would be willing to help real quick unlike most larger repair shops, typically

Thanks for the info. I don't have the owners manual but haven't tried the GM dealer yet.
