Door lock is stuck

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this Forum, can you pls try help me with my problem?

My dad bought a new truck & i got his Chevrolet Avalanche (2002), i really enjoy driving it.

But now, the front passenger side door doesn't unlock.
They were no early signs, it just got stuck one day.

I tried both the key & remote, but no luck.

I don't know what to do.

Is there a way to fix it without visitng the mechanic? how much should this cost me?

Hi

Will it unlock from the inside of the door or not at all? I worked at the chevy dealer and if you cannot open the door from either side, the rods fell off. There is a way to do it and not break anything. if you have not alraedy taken it to the shop i can tell you how. If you could awnser a question for me i will givge you a free copy of the product when it comes out.
