well first we get the x5 for 1 or 2 years and then the touring

my dad often drives longer ways and there are quite many traffic jams...
so a automatic is better... and my dad is not the racer anymore...
and believe me the new automatic will be good!

Good point for the traffic jam, it's better with an automatic, and the new ones are better today, even if (personnaly) I do still prefer a classic manual transmission.

of course i also prefer manual shifting but with more than 200 or 300 ps in a luxury car you don´t need manual shifting
if you would drive a bmw 520i you definitely need a manual shifting

Maybe.... but nothing worth a Ferrari or a Lamborghini with a manual gear box ! ... Am I repeating my idea ? :D
