Would a single turbo still be streetable? Just curious, cuz I've come across some single turbo cars.

I dont own a Single Supra......YET ;) But I want to. There are dozen of different turbos for the Supra. The smaller the turbo the quicker it spools, but HP will be lower then a big turbo. The bigger the Turbo the longer it will spool, but it has greater top end power. There are SP, PHR, Greddy, HKS, RPS kits available.

If it was my money, I'd get the HKS single turbo, NO debate. But like you pointed out, these systems may be for off-road use only.. I haven't done the research myself, sorry.

About your 1320, 12.2 @ 118, I assume that's on slicks? Any other mods? That seems too fast for a stock supra.. but whatever the case, that's pretty sweet. I shudder when I think about how much work (not to mention weight reduction!) my car will have to suffer through to have a chance at matching that. You've got a quarter mile time of a 1997 to 1999 Viper GTS (I think the Viper camp received horsepower upgrades for 2000?) on street tires right there.

I have a Powerhouse single on my car and other then the heavy hks triple i have in my car its like driving a stock car. Well a stock car that like to spin 4th gear.

Slicks.....HA. I wish, If I ran slicks I would be running mid 11's :D But seriously, I ran my 12.2 on S0-2's. I cut A 1.95 60' Not bad for a STREET tire. Check out my thread, "Mods to my car" It should tell u what I have done.....

Custom short ram intake 4” K&N filter
Moroso oil pan
Holley 68 mm throttle body
AEM fuel rail
RC 310 cc/min injectors
Walbro 342 fuel pump
Cartech 20007 FMU
B&M Command Flo/modified fuel pressure regulator
MSD 6AL ignition
MSD Blaster SS coil
Endyn-modified JRSC with 3” pulley
B18C1 transmission with Quaife limited slip differential
Clutch Masters lightened aluminum flywheel
Clutch Masters Stage 1 pressure plate
ACT six-puck clutch

Yet to go in are the Endyn-modified Bosch fuel pump, a Hi-Tech exhaust system, and a Speed Pro system. I’ve still got a stock P72 ECU, DC 4-1 header, and Mugen twin loop exhaust system. And a guy at Iceman is helping me with a new intake that will incorporate a 3 to 3˝” K&N filter. That's all that relates to the engine.. I did a couple brake and suspension upgrades a while back too.

No clue. The car is still running like crap. Once the building stage is finished, I'll get it tuned, and then probably take it to the track in the spring. For the record, I'll say right now that for the car to shine as it truly can, I'm going to let my friend Henry drive her. With good tuning, and a little luck, she'll be mid to low 12s... fingers crossed.

If I lighten her up enough, I can probably just squeeze her into the 11s, which will make her one damned impressive supercharged Honda!!!

what are the stock turbos in the TT supra? wouldnt it be better going with one small and one large? like T25 and a T4. so one spools and when its done the other one goes..
or two really big turbos so when they both kick in your head hits the seat and your ass starts to sweat...

get the turbo from a jet engine and stick it in the trunk and rev REALLY high...that'll be a kick in the ass.

hay whats up im new to this board as you can tell.
i ran a 10.7 at 136 on nitto drag radial i have a 6speed and yea it took some practice.
i have a T-88 greddy kit it has some good lag but i just down shift and its gone hehehe
i just installed 860cc injectors crower springs and retainers and pulled the cams. i am going to dyno this week with the stock one and see when they max out. i have done every thing to the car myself it has 75000 miles on it.
not trying to brag just a fyi
o in the august turbo there is a T2K2 artical that has a pic of my car and time.
