Here's what I ve got: 92 K2500 5.7L 218K Miles
I bought this truck not long ago so I don't know much aobut the history. I've noticed it has an engine oil leak only after its been driven. Since its not my daily driver when it sits for a week I know that it does not leak. Only after I drive it for a while and park it will I notice it will leak for a while. Im assumeing that it's just dripping the oil that has sprayed from under the truck. This has led me to believe that my leak is somewhere higher up in the engine. somewhere above where the oil sits when the vehicle is not running. What are my most leak prone areas??
Thank you in advance for your input

Oil filter and base and oil filter and oil cooler lines.
On the upper side check the oil pressure switch and back of intake and valve covers.
Clean it ioff good and run engien and watch for lek.
For the hard to find leaks they make a leak dye kit too put i n the engine oil.

yup replaced the gasket and o ring on the oil filter adapter and it seemed to have fixed the leak. I still have some oil on the bottom on the engine but it is definitely alot better.

Thanks for posting back how it went.
Sounds like you got the main leak.
If you think it is still leaking clean off all old oil and look for anymore leaks.
They make a leak dye kit for hard to find leaks.
Good luck
