I have a 2003 LS v8 and it drives me insane that I can not check my own trans fluid levels. I was wondering if you kind folks have figured out a way to check the levels of the trans fluid without bringing it to the dealer?
Thanks in advance,
Steve

2003 is a good year for Lincon LS,it's a big turn-around.
You should be glad that, you got one with most of the problems weeded out! Check AF Threads
1) Take your time to get to know her ,the owners manual will let you know all her bells + whistles.
2) Check her doc records for previous Issues and Service records.
3) How many miles are on her?
4) Are you current with service records?
5) Alldata has Transmission service at 150k miles.
6) Make sure she has PCM + ECM reflash updates.
** If it works, don't fix it! ,because you will need money for regular service + repairs.
