I think he meant actual cost as in how much do you actually pay. For example, an H2 Hummer costs $71,745 in Canada but it actually costs $97,000 when all is said and done. This figure was told by someone who just bought one who lives about an hour away from me.

In the UK it's really not like that. We always get cars at RRP or below it, never above from the franchine dealer. Cars like the M3 (when first released) and 360 Spider go over list from other dealers/induviduals who buy them from the franchise dealer.

Yeah, I chose that car because it is popular in the US, where most of you guys are! If it was a UK forum I would have said Focus - people know these cars and can compare the sizes!

I've been to a guys house out in Cali that has wooden floors in his garage. They are spotless and shiny. It's the most unbelievable thing I have ever seen in my entire life.
