2001 Mirror Adjuster

I just got a 2001 Grand AM GT, the knob to adjust mirrors seems to be pushed down into the door, how do I determin the problem, remove it, etc, anybody know?

I don't know how far your's is pushed in but mine often falls into the door. I just get a pair of tweasers and pull it back out! Everything works fine after just got to get it back out of there! If you can't reach it just pull the door panel off and fish it out!

the window button switch panel just pops out, its held in with a clip on each end, you should be able to reach it from there. The door panel has 3 philips screws holding it, along with several push pins on the bottom and sides.

The switch does pop out easy if its not clipped in securely.
