Not sure what I think about this kit now that I can see what there is to it.
Seems quite a simple thing to put together.
What do you think, seeing as you're the one building it?

yes.. 100% agree too simple don't even think live the SLR or carrera GT.. not even 50%... This is due of the " high oil price " ... from today on this is the only reason...
but the plastic mold is very good...now i am waiting for the F430 scuderial.. that one has half engine only too.. but the new design of brake kit just like Golf GTI,R32 that will be very nice...

Again, someone is missing a trick here by not producing a GTR kit with the detail of the Enzo or Carrera GT. This is one of the few Japanese cars that is just as popular in Japan as it is around the rest of the world.
This and every single 996/997 911 is a wasted opportunity.

Still, that is a nice looking kit.
Just a pity there isn't more of it.

Yeh im quite dissapointed with the kit also for the price that is, how much did you pay for it? Also the way the engine is molded to the body makes masking a pain. I think tamiya cut corners so they can release their gtr first. Nice progress btw. The body looks so clean though with no flash or sink marks. Its going to be white?
