Well, it is official (as of this afternoon): Cedric Benson is no longer with the Chicago Bears.

Personally, I'm glad that they did it. My only concern is that it puts a lot more pressure on the new rookie and on Garrett Wolfe. Still, I think they have a few options, including a couple free agent RB's.
Chicago Fans (and haters): thoughts?

I don't think it matters as long as the Browns are still in the NFL!!! (They will dominate) JK! Anyways. . . I think it will definately put pressure on the rook but it will be good for him! It is going to do nothing but force him to grow faster and faster! It also opens up some options for the team! Overall I think the move was not all that bad!

I know this is kinda "old" and late reply but anyways...
Good riddance. I never did like C. Benson anyways. Til this day everyone is still talking about how much regret on trading Thomas Jones away. Everyone knows it was a big mistake.
I hear Matt Forte is pretty damn good and could be our starter? Shaun Alexander hasn't been signed yet and I think it's a good idea for the Bears to sign him. He had one bad season , so what? He's still young and I think he can bring something to the table.
