Power windows hazard

My 2005 Sierra (Same as a Silverado) power windows switches will actually raise the windows by pushing down on the back of the window switch. My dog almost cut her head off by stepping on the switch before I noticed the problem. Being an extended cab and not a crew cab, it doesn't have a lockout switch. I tried raising the window with my hand holding it down. It will not stop by force either. Definitely enough to kill a dog or child or even a drunk friend if that's the case.
Does anyone know if I can install an after market lockout switch or install the crew cab driver control panel which has a lockout switch?
I'd like to do something before my daughter gets old enough to be a risk to this problem.

these windows will stop when an object is blocking its full travel....put a piece of soft wood in the path and the window will stop ....there is a current limiter that will stop the power....but if the switch is held down it will restart the window again.....it would be hard for a small child to have head stuck in window while continuing to push the switch..
as you know small childen are not to be in the front passenger side...and with the key removed windows are shut down....
driving with any head out the window is also dangerous....but if the person is drunk I would rather have his head get stuck in the window then mess up my ride...

You should be able to wire in a switch for the power wire on that motor if you are concerned.
