the driver side seat is not working. any advice would be helpful thanks.

Check the seat switch and trim. Sometimes the connector inside the trime will get damaged by getting in and out of the vehicle. Also, check the fuse, if fuse is blown, check the seat rails for a blockage causing excessive current draw. Report back findings. Good Luck
